Recipe - Italian Spaghetti with Eggplants and Tomato

Ingredients for 4 people:
- 3 Eggplants
- 1 Piece of Garlic
- Pepper
- Salt
- Olive Oil
- Tomato sauce
- Pasta (spaghetti) 400 gr.

Process:

  • Step 1: Cut the eggplants into slices and put them in salted water for 30 minutes
  • Step 2: Fry the eggplants with olive oil
  • Step 3: Prepare the tomato sauce
    • Put in a pan the tomato sauce with a clove of garlic, parsley, salt and peppers
    • Cook for about 20 minutes on low flame
  • Step 4: Pasta - Boil water, add salt and put pasta
  • Step 5: Wait until pasta is ready
  • Step 6: Mix pasta with tomato sauce
  • Step 7: Bend Spaghetti with Eggplants
  • Step 8: Put in the oven at 180°c and cook for about 15 minutes
  • Step 9: Put the rolls on a plate and serve hot

  • Fish, rich of omega 3 fatty acids
  • All not processed grains (i.e. withe bread)
  • Some dairy (cheese and yougurt) [See French low heart diseases rate]
  • Red Wine
  • Some low fat red meat like lamb
  • Fruits and vegetables

Fruits and vegetables are the best foods to lower high blood pressure. They have a special mineral that lower blood pressure, Potassium.

It balances the sodium (salt) amount, the main cause of high pressure.

By following this diet approach you can lower your blood pressure of 68 points.

[Video] How to peel tomatoes

Peeling tomatoes

  1. Place the tomatoes in an heat-resistant container
  2. Boil the water
  3. Put the tomatoes in the boiling water. The hot water should cover the tomatoes well
  4. Leave the tomatoes in the hot water for 15-30 seconds
  5. Remove the tomatoes from the water
  6. Now peel the skin

[Video] How to cook pasta - Tricks and Instructions to cooking it perfectly

Directions

  1. When the water is rolling boil, add salt.
  2. Add all the pasta to the boiling water at once
  3. Cover the pot to make it boiling as soon as possible.
  4. Stir it often with a wooden spoon to prevent sticking.
  5. One minute or so before the stated time (see the pasta package), check the pasta to see how chewy it is.
  6. When the pasta is ready drain it immediately without rinsing.

Tips and Tricks

  • Proportions: 1 quart of water for 3 ounces of pasta and about 1 teaspoon of salt per every quart of water
  • Use a big pot
  • Add salt when the water is rolling boil
  • Keep the pasta completely submerged in boiling water

Doing so you can be sure to stay on weight and keep its nutrient intact.
