How to make oranges in wine recipe

oranges and wineIngredients

  • 3/4 c Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon
  • 1 c Water
  • 4 Lemon slices
  • 1 c Red wine

Directions

  • Heat sugar & water until sugar dissolves.
  • Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
  • Simmer 15 minutes, strain and pour over oranges.
  • Chill at least 4 hours.
  • Present in crystal bowl.

In the ingredients list it has no amount of oranges your supposed to use, or whether they should be peeled and seperated or cut in wedges or slices. Can you help me out with this?

My comment is the same as Lorie’s. How many oranges, peeled or not, sliced or whole.
